- 1st Degree Black Belt in Kenpo Karate
- Certified in Krav Maga
- Has studied DePasquale Jui-Jitsu, Jeet Kun Do, Krav Maga, Muy Thai, stick fighting and some Brazilian Jui Jitsu
- Has studied under Larry Tatum, Kru Mark DellaGrotte, Kru Toy, Greg Pichardo and Steve Arsenault
- Has 2 sons
